Two Staff Promotions February 25th, 2008 Two members of the staff at King Manufacturing Corporation (KMC) were given title promotions, effective February 25th, 2008. Chris Jacobs was promoted to Operations Manager, and Sarah Weinberger (Wienke) was promoted to Vice President of Production. Chris began her career at KMC in 1999 as a Clerical Office Assistant, with an Associate Degree in Accounting from Moraine Park Technical College. Over the course of her 9 years of service, she has grown to handle purchasing, accounting, invoicing, human resource managing, inventory reporting, directing our safety program, and overseeing one part-time employee. She also has been continuing her education, earning an Associate Degree in Supervisory Management, with certificates in Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, and Principles of Management. Sarah began her career at KMC in 2001 as a part-time Draftsperson while she was attending college. A year later, she accepted a full-time position as a Structural Technician upon completion of an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering - Structural from Moraine Park Technical College. She now has grown to detail projects for fabrication, check other designers' work for errors, assist customers and installers, prepare quotes for new projects, perform various business tracking, maintain the website, and supervise one full-time CAD Technician. She also has been working toward a degree in Business-to-Business Marketing.
